Notes
Keep internal notes against any record.
What are Notes?
Notes are free-text records you add to any person, company, project, task, appointment, or ticket in your workspace. Use notes to capture meeting outcomes, key decisions, important context, follow-up actions, or anything else your team needs to remember.
Viewing Notes
Notes are visible on the detail page of whatever record they are linked to — open a contact, project, or ticket and scroll to the Notes section to see all notes for that item.
You can also view all notes across your workspace from Notes in the top menu, and filter by:
- Contact — Notes linked to a specific person
- Organization — Notes linked to a specific company
- Task — Notes on a specific task
- Appointment — Notes from a specific meeting
- Ticket — Notes on a support ticket
- Project — Notes on a specific project
- Type — The category of note
- Priority — High, Normal, or Low

From any record's detail page:
- Scroll to the Notes section.
- Click Add Note.

- Set an optional type and priority.
- Click Save.
Notes are visible to all team members who can access that record.
Editing a Note

- Update the text.
- Click Save.
Deleting a Note
- Find the note.

- The note is soft deleted — removed from your view but preserved in audit logs.
Note Types and Priority
Use type to categorize your notes (e.g., Meeting Summary, Decision, Follow-up). Use priority (High, Normal, Low) to flag notes that need attention.
Frequently Asked Questions

Are notes private? No. All notes on a record are visible to all workspace members who have access to that record. There is no private note feature — use the Internal comment flag in tickets if you need team-only communication.
Can I pin an important note to the top? Note pinning is on our roadmap. Currently, notes appear in the order they were created.
