Understand your business with built-in reports.

What are Reports?

Reports give you data-driven insight into how your business is performing — revenue, project delivery, team utilization, invoice aging, and more. Use reports to make informed decisions and spot opportunities or problems early.


Accessing Reports

Go to Reports in the top menu.


Available Reports

1. Client P&L (Profit & Loss)

Shows income versus costs broken down by client contact or organization.

  • Use it to: Identify your most profitable clients and spot clients where costs are eating into margins.
  • Filter by: Date range, contact, organization.

2. Client Activity Summary

Shows all activity (meetings, tasks, tickets, notes) for each client over a period.

  • Use it to: Prepare for client reviews, demonstrate engagement, or identify clients who have gone quiet.
  • Filter by: Date range, contact, organization.

3. Project Financial Summary

Shows budget vs. actual revenue and hours for each project.

  • Use it to: See which projects are on budget, which are running over, and where your most profitable work comes from.
  • Filter by: Date range, project, status.

4. Project Delivery Report

Shows progress, milestone completion, and task status across projects.

  • Use it to: Review delivery performance and identify delayed or at-risk projects.
  • Filter by: Date range, project, status.

5. Overall P&L

A high-level profit & loss view across your entire business.

  • Use it to: Get the big picture of business profitability over any period.
  • Filter by: Date range.

6. Invoice Aging

Shows outstanding invoices grouped by how overdue they are (e.g., 0–30 days, 31–60 days, 60+ days).

  • Use it to: Prioritize collection efforts and identify clients with payment issues.
  • Filter by: Contact, organization, status.

7. Team Utilisation

Shows how much of each team member's available time is being used (billable and non-billable hours).

  • Use it to: Spot overloaded or underutilized team members and balance workload.
  • Filter by: Date range, team member, team.

8. Member Performance

Shows individual output metrics — tasks completed, time logged, tickets resolved — per team member.

  • Use it to: Recognize high performers and support those who may need help.
  • Filter by: Date range, team member.

Annual Review Report

Go to Reports → Annual Review for a comprehensive year-in-review summary of your business.

  • Overview of all key metrics for the year
  • Can be exported as a PDF for sharing with stakeholders or investors
  • Can be regenerated to refresh with the latest data

Exporting Reports

Most reports can be exported:

  • CSV — For use in Excel, Google Sheets, or your accountant's tools
  • PDF — For sharing with clients, investors, or team members

To export:

  1. Open the report.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Choose CSV or PDF.
  4. The file downloads.

Business Insights

Go to Insights in the top menu for AI-generated observations and recommendations about your business.

Insights are automatically generated based on your data and might highlight things like:

  • A client whose activity has dropped off
  • An invoice that is significantly overdue
  • A project tracking over budget

Managing Insights

  • Dismiss an insight if it is not relevant — it will not reappear.
  • Snooze an insight if you want to revisit it later.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often is report data updated? Reports reflect your live data and are generated in real time each time you view them.

Can I schedule reports to be emailed automatically? Scheduled report delivery is on our product roadmap.

Can I create custom reports? Custom report builder is on our roadmap. Currently, a fixed set of pre-built reports is available.

Who can see reports? All workspace members can access reports. Some financial data (bookkeeping-linked reports) may be limited to Owners and Admins.
